UNESCO Promotes Peacebuilding through Civic Engagement Campaign in East Cameroon

By the end of each session, many participants were already proposing project ideas, from school-based peace clubs and sanitation initiatives to youth-led forums for intercommunal understanding. What happened in the East Region over those ten days is a reminder that civic education, when rooted in local realities, can spark transformation. The PRONEC REAMORCE campaign continues its journey across the country, but the experience in towns like Bertoua, Ouli, and Ngoura already stands as a strong testament to what is possible when young people are placed at the center of national development efforts.
